Unfortunately in life you sometimes have to deal with people you’d much rather avoid. I once had the unpleasant experience of needing to ask a favour of one such person and it really seemed that the momentary power they had over me gave them a great thrill.
When you deal with people like this they have a knack of trapping you in their own artificial bubble. Some unlucky folk seem destined to be entangled with these charlatans and for them it sometimes seems impossible to smash the glass and take flight into the unknown.
